4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information regarding the items to be cleared
  • Ensure access to the premises at the scheduled time
  • Obtain necessary permissions for the clearance process
  • Remove any personally sensitive items not intended for disposal

5. Booking and Scheduling

To schedule a clearance service, the Client must:

  • Complete the booking form with accurate details
  • Confirm the service date and time
  • Provide any special instructions or requirements

5.1 Cancellations and Rescheduling

If the Client needs to cancel or reschedule a booking, they must notify Office Clearance East Ham at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees.

6. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due as follows:

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the clearance.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, and other approved methods.

6.1 Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 2% per month until the outstanding balance is settled.

7. Liability and Insurance

Office Clearance East Ham ensures that all team members are trained and insured. However, the Service Provider is not liable for:

  • Damage to items not handled by our team
  • Loss of items that were not specified for clearance
  • Delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as extreme weather or access issues

7.1 Insurance Coverage

We carry liability insurance to cover any accidental damage that may occur during the clearance process. Detailed information about our insurance coverage is available upon request.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Office Clearance East Ham adheres to strict data protection regulations to ensure that your personal information is secure. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Dispute Resolution

These terms constitute the entire agreement between the Client and the Service Provider regarding the clearance services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
